Yesterday I visited Michelle and Delilah. I got to hold and snuggle her (Delilah, not Michelle) and satisfy my grandbaby fix at least for a while. I'm hopefully posting a few pictures from our trip last week. I just LOVED driving through 15 MILES of AMAZING tulips and daffodils at the Skagit County Tulips Festival. And this is Multnomah Falls, the waterfall Carl and I climbed to the top of. It is not King's Peak, but then I am not a hiker either.

Wow- those tulips are gorgeous! The waterfall is beautiful too. As for the baby fix-only 3 more weeks and you'll get to hold one of your own grand babies! (Of course he doesn't really let you snuggle him all that much these days- but maybe we'll get a hug in there.)

Thanks for coming to visit us. :) We love visitors during the day. Also I didn't share the cookies I was nursing and about an hour later looked over an the cookies were gone .. oops! They were delicious.

Those tulips are massive. I'm very jealous. I too love the new baby smell, and when they breathe on your neck. mmmmm so fun. I didn't even know there was a tulip festival in Washington, I'll have to put it on my list of places to go. So fun.

Mom, Love the blog. You are so crafty! But now I think you need to write a blog about American Idol and how much you love Jason Castro. p.s. Rufio LOVES to snuggle.... :)

I love the picture with Delilah, but then I might just be a little prejudice. I think that picture with the tulips could be blown up and put on the wall,It is so pretty. I love the waterfall too. I am impressed you hiked to the top, that looks pretty high to me.

Linds, you would have to write that in your blog! My vote goes to little David, of course, who will be at Murray High this weekend. I can't be there because I'll be in Denver. Are you going?

A couple of questions/comments from the string of responses:

1. We all felt the loss of Jason Castro this week. He had mad talent, but the recent Idol themes were not the appropriate vehicle to showcase his charm and talent.

2. Julie, you say it will probably be easier for you to find Mom in the Mexican airport than for Mom to find you. Is this because you feel you look more Mexican than Mom?

Good news Jules; you only have to find us at your boarding gate in Phoenix because that's where we will all meet! Yay! Rand, she probably thought she could find 5 of us easier than we could spot one of her.

I love that Mom's blog is the new blair chat room. Rand-I'm glad SOMEBODY saw in Jason what I saw. He has great potential. Who cares if he can't form a sentence.
Julie-I agree with you, you do look more mexican than mom. I also think you may be able to speak more spanish. Maybe not, mom has been practicing. Donde Estas el beache???
Suz-I just wanted to say hi seeing as how this is the way to talk to people now.
Jeff-where is your blog?
Dad-How's work?
Rand-I hope your excited for some mexican fun because I sure am. Big Squeeze! Love you brother!!!
